The RTO Compliance Officer works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to support the Learning and RTO team deliver education and training to HammondCare staff.

Provide general compliance support for Learning and RTO team members in relation to the VET Quality Framework and HammondCare RTO Policies and Procedures, Lead and monitor continuous improvement and corrective action systems and processes to ensure quality and compliant outcomes and Support and guide Learning and RTO team members to achieve organically compliant outcomes through development, implementation and review of policy and procedures and supporting materials.

You will also be responsible for

  • Provide guidance and support on currency and qualifications of trainers and assessors in conjunction with the Manager Learning Delivery
  • Oversee AQF certification issuance to ensure AQF guidelines and RTO standards are met
  • Manage the integrity of and fulfil HammondCare RTO data reporting obligations as specified by the VET Quality Framework
  • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive audit preparation plans for:
  • Annual internal audit
  • Re-Registration audits
  • Ad-hoc ASQA audits
  • Third party audits

Skills and experience

  • TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with the following units
  • TAELLN411
  • TAEASS502
  • Detailed working knowledge of the VET Quality Framework
  • Facilitation and mentoring skills
  • Superior attention to detail and strong drive to ensure quality control of information
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to confidently use technology and systems
  • Understanding how learners interact and engage in a digital and work-based environment
  • Experience in compliance officer role within vocational education (2+ years)
  • ASQA monitoring and or registration / reregistration audit experience
  • Preparation of management reports
