About the role

The Content Manager works collaboratively across the Marketing team in developing content strategy, plans and schedules across all HammondCare content formats and channels, including for Dementia Centre and Dementia Support Australia – in line with marketing strategies, including internal and external marketing, communications campaigns and new opportunities.

While the role reports to the Head of Content, it will also work closely with the General Manager, Marketing, in supporting Business Partners and Marketing Managers to develop coordinated marketing and content plans.

Key Focus Areas

  • Support coordination of overall marketing planning while developing content strategy & plans, schedules, data analysis and reporting in line with marketing strategies and objectives to increasingly leverage HammondCare (including DC, DSA) content across internal and external communications channels.
  • Be part of creating new content campaigns and communities to maximise impact of new and repurposed content with a vision to strengthen HammondCare’s thought leadership, brand reputation and customer service.
  • Effective internal and external stakeholder engagement resulting in high quality outputs and strong levels of satisfaction working with our team.

About you

  • Minimum five years’ experience and demonstrated ability in content planning, strategy or development roles within a marketing context
  • Ability to handle a busy environment and juggle multiple projects and stakeholders effectively and positively


  • A relevant professional academic qualification in marketing, communications, or content development – preferred but not essential if experience is relevant.
  • A current driver’s licence, safe driving record and willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites.
  • Familiarity with health and aged care content, issues and business processes including dementia and palliative care.
