About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role of Corporate Treasury Accountant is responsible for the Treasury function and the Accounts Payable process at HammondCare.

The role is also responsible for managing the funds of the organization in order to ensure that all current and projected operational cash requirements can be met whilst optimising the returns that can be made on any excess funds that have been suitably invested. 

The Corporate Treasury Accountant has three direct reports being the Accounts Payable Supervisor, Accounts Payable Officer, and Coupa Specialist. 

This position is offered on a fixed term full-time basis until January 2023.

About You:

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Significant practical experience in a similar corporate role, Not for Profit organisation experience is not essential
  • Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, exposure to SUN and Epicor systems advantageous
  • Good communication skills, and an ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels
  • Exposure to Coupa purchasing and invoice processing system is advantageous but not essential
  • Exposure to the Aged Care Sector advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience
