Reporting to the Head of Quality Safety and Risk (QSR) for the HammondCare at home portfolio, you will work within the Mission in Action of HammondCare.  Managers in the QSR team work closely with the services and Head of QSR to ensure that our services are aligned with HammondCare’s philosophy and models of care and support the achievement of the service’s goals and aims. The QSR Manager provides leadership for the support of the core business and the service delivery of the organisation.

 

Key focus areas

  • Maintain relationships with the services that encourage them to escalate concerns and a willingness to work with QSR on innovation and improvement
  • Maintain a customer focus and engage stakeholders at every level, ensuring their understanding and support for the organisation’s ongoing commitment to quality improvement
  • Undertake investigation, reviews and audits as scheduled or triggered by changes in service delivery or as requested by the Head of Quality Safety and Risk
  • Escalate concerns or sentinel events to the Head of Quality, Safety and Risk 
  • Support services in meeting the requirements of any external regulatory reviews or other external visits and provide onsite support during these events

 

Skills and experience

  • A relevant Health or Aged Care related tertiary qualification and demonstrated leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in or supporting a community-based service model
  • Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement, quality management, standards and processes
  • Demonstrated experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment
