The role of the Registered, Enrolled & Assistant Nurses works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care.

  • Works within scope of professional nursing practice
  • To be a leader within the team and promote the mission and mission in action

 

About you – Experience

Qualifications | Work Experience | Skills and Competencies

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency 
  • A passion to work in one of our specialty units - Palliative Care, Rehabilitation or Specialist Mental Health for Older People
  • Minimum 12 months experience working as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
  • AIN’s with a completed HLT33115 Cert III Health Services Assistance or a minimum of 1 year as an undergraduate student.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in the specialty
  • Experience in working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and other language/ bilingual skills
  • Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services.
  • Sound computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience
