Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior analyst / administrator for all business systems, guiding the team and super users with troubleshooting issues, making configuration changes, managing security, data management and designing reports and dashboards.
  • Manage system releases, ensuring optimized use of features, and being the lead for all system changes
  • Work with the business to elicit requirements, analyse, evaluate and scope application configuration changes, installs or new development requests
  • Be a key stakeholder in all business systems projects, providing technical and functional leadership to project teams and business, ensuring the organisation gets the best value from these systems
  • Act as the liaison between our users, suppliers and technology teams
  • Manage and maintain an assets register (CMDB) of all business systems
  • Assist the team with training new users, assisting in development of training documentation, supporting super users, and encouraging growth in technical skills across the organisation
  • Design, develop and manage dashboards and reporting of data from business systems used across the organization using BI tools – in partnership with the Data & Analytics team
  • A technical and functional expert for the BI stack (SSIS, SSRS & SSAS and PowerBI), Microsoft Power Platform and development technologies, providing the expertise that bridges gaps between a business idea and the detail required to achieve the goal
  • Maintain high levels of effective communications and collaborations within the ICT team and other portfolios across the organisation.

Who are you? 

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an information systems discipline, including 3-4 years specifically supporting business systems, with a desire to continue learning and growing in this space
  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling / mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of system and data quality assurance best practice, standards and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with core software applications, including Epicor and Salesforce are advantageous.
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, business analytics skills such as running user eliciting requirements workshops, mapping business process, and preparing project documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Expert computer skills including end user device operating systems and applications
  • Additional SQL programming skills, basic working knowledge of MS SQL Server & experience in MS BI stack desirable
  • Epicor experience is a must
