Senior Roster Co-ordinator- what's involved in the role?

Full-Time opportunity for an experienced Senior Roster Coordinator in our Bathurst office

  • The role of Roster Coordinator (known internally as a Senior Scheduler) works to provide Scheduling services to all HammondAtHome Bathurst areas.
  • Manage and administer client and staff schedules, ensuring rounds are set up with consideration to consistency, efficiency, fairness, and maintaining care workers contract hours
  • Partnering with Admissions Team, Care Managers and Client Liaison Managers, the Senior Scheduler will follow best practice methods create schedules that meet the needs of clients and staff whilst meeting the requirements of the Enterprise Agreement
  • Ensure wise use of resources in terms of travel, makeup contract hours, overtime and broken shifts. Rostering all education, training, vaccinations and other operational requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in customer service, scheduling/rostering, data analytics or call centre
  • Experience in managing your own direct reports
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role with a high level of attention to detail
  •  A natural problem solver you have outstanding communication and coordination skills
