The opportunity 

The Student Support Officer ensures the quality and compliant administration of national recognised training to its staff and delivers a positive student experience.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Hammondville with working from home flexibility.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting learners with non-academic support and well-being needs
  • All administration duties in relation to Student enrolment; LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy); Student Management System & Leaner Management system
  • Monitor progress of learners and support their education journey
  • Responding to learner enquiries
  • Work placement support
  • Issuing certificates
  • Data reporting
  • RTO compliance activities

Who are you?

  • A minimum of 2 year’s demonstrated experience in a busy administration role with a strong customer service focus
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Empathy and patience
  • Experience working as a Student Support Officer and/or Work Placement Support function and understanding of RTO Standard desirable
